Below are the steps that we will go through to produce your new website. We'll involve you in every step of the process to make sure you're completely satisfied with the direction of the site design, which will give you more control on the overall aesthetics of your site.
For all steps of this process you can choose to have a consultation with us or communicate over email. However, we do recommend you have the initial consultation with your designer.
To do list - before initial consultation
- Write some content for your home page or get a copywriter to do it for you.
- Search and buy a web address (domain name) for your website. Best place to buy a domain name is www.ukreg.com

Step 1 - Initial Consultation
to discuss what features you'll need for the website depending on what you want to do with the site. At this stage we'll also determine what style will best suit the industry that you're aiming to integrate your new site into so you have the best chance of success within this field.
Step 2 - Design Concepts
After the initial consultation we'll produce still images of what your home page and general site style will look like. We'll give you several alternatives to choose from including different colour schemes, layouts and if you have chosen to have a logo, we'll show alternatives of these at this stage in different website styles. We'll then present this to you either over email or by a second consultation depending on your preference.
Step 3 - Individual page design
Once you have chosen a design your happy with we'll produce still images of the remaining pages of your website and then present these to you. This stage can take up to two weeks as once we have presented the remaining pages you may wish to change certain area's around. Its important to get this stage exactly how you want it as its more time consuming to make changes after this stage is complete.
Step 4 - Design sign off
Initial design sign off. Once you're happy with the still images for you website we’ll sign it off, which basically means you're happy with the design and want it built as a website.
Step 5 - Website Construction
We'll now go away and build your new website. This stage normally takes a week but can be done quicker if required.
Step 6 - Browser testing
Once your website is built we'll invite you to test it on our servers. This means you'll be able to sit down and look at the site from your customer's point of view. At this stage you can rest assured that we will test the site in every web browser and version imaginable so your customers have the best experience possible. We test our sites in the following browser and versions: Internet Explorer 6 to latest, Firefox 2.0 to latest, Safari all versions and Opera all versions.
Step 7 - Project Completion & After care
Once your completely happy with your website you can sign it off. We'll now put your website live on your chosen domain name and hosting package - However, you'll always find something later down the line that you may want to move around slightly. For complete peace of mind we'll do this completely free for the first month after your site has been put live.
